Swim With Us has a few different lesson lengths! All determined by an evaluating instructor while taking considerations of clients into account. All lessons are private 1 on 1 lessons as this is the most beneficial for students progression. Booking is per lesson. Our lesson lengths and prices are listed below:
20 min = $45 30 min = $65 40 min = $85 60 min = $130
18 mo + (Under 7 yrs)
For children under 7 yrs old it is recommended to do a max of 20 minutes unless deemed differently by your evaluating instructor!
This length of time is determined by temperament & temperature! Both factors can affect length of lesson & affect the lesson experience itself. We recommend 20 min max for children under 7 yrs old in order to maintain a positive association with the water which impacts learning & progression.
Children under 7 with 0 swim experience are most often starting with the first section of the curriculum of Foundational Swim skills & Pool Safety skills. These skills are the building blocks to efficient stroke work that follows the first section of our curriculum and are age appropriate skills.
Kids/Teens/Adults
Children, Teens, & Adults depending on swim experience, may swim a minimum 20 minutes up to 1 hour! For young children who advance to this section of the curriculum, you may still be recommended 20 min by your instructor because of temperature or temperament. Typically we see 30 min - 40 min for Teens and Adults, but length of time is determined by your evaluating instructor. This length of time is determined by different factors like your existing skill set or experience swimming. As you progress in your swim journey your lesson length may increase.
The middle section of our curriculum focuses on the four swim strokes + informal swim skills / strokes! In some cases even if you have little or no experience swimming you may jump to this section in the curriculum if your evaluating instructor determines you have enough foundational skills to learn stroke work. You may have skills present that you don’t even know about if you’re new to swim.
